Gmail - Googles new kid is in beta stage and I am using it actively; my main aim is to trace it development (feature and evolution) and see if I can get some bugs (if any), news, and other information related to Gmail and Google.
Google dropped yet another bomb by introducing its new service called
Google Page Creator. Google testing a new product that makes creating your own web pages as easy as creating a document in a word processor. Google Page Creator is a free tool that lets you create web pages right in your browser and publish them to the web with one click. There's no software to download and no web designer to hire. The pages you create are hosted on Google servers and are available at http://yourgmailusername.googlepages.com for the world to see.
Here is sample page I had
created using this tool. It offers 100MB disk space.
I think this is the first step towards Google hosting. However, it failed to impress me. Since it is in beta, you cannot complain about it.
According to Google Google current is, "
Current TV is a new cable and satellite channel available throughout the U.S. Through a partnership, we provide access to Google Zeitgeist information - up to the minute aggregated search query results - for the Current staff to use in creating new TV stories. The resulting program, "Google Current," airs every half hour on Current TV and
provides a look at what the world is searching for on Google. From hybrid cars to human-animal hybrids, from Paris riots to Paris Hilton photos, your searches guide Current stories."
Check it out
Google current.
Nicki Brochner recently pointed out me little information regarding Gmail’s webclips "
I do not know if you have noticed but I think it is kind of cute ;-) if you have activated webclips in your Gmail account and you enter the SPAM folder it will show you different Spam recipes".

Yup very nice. After enabling webclips it took me to
this page.
It is here. This special beta test lets you give Gmail, Google's webmail service, to every user at your domain. Gmail for your domain is hosted by Google, so there's no hardware or software for you to install or maintain. It will have following feature
* 2 gigabytes of storage and search tools that help users find information fast.
* Easily manage user accounts, aliases and mailing lists.
According to Google "Gmail for your domain is currently available as a limited beta. If your organization is interested in helping Google test this service, we'll consider your domain for this beta. You'll need to sign in with a Google Account (or get a new one), and answer a few quick questions about your organization and your email needs."
You can apply here
online. I am just hoping they will launch Google hosting too. Currently I am using Yahoo web hosing and yahoo business yahoo email+. Found via digg.
I am using custom email with domain from yahoo. Now news is that Gmail is also planning to introduce same feature with Gmail. According to
Cnet blog "Their next big move will likely be GMail for domains a powerful way for anybody who owns a domain to utilize GMail as a mail server, not just a client. Yahoo has their own small business mail product which does precisely this, and now evidence suggests Google is planning the same."
Great news, I hope they will also introduce Hosting service too. Found via

They are going to add following features too:

- Set your status to busy, sleepy, angry or whatever. Even sneezy.
- Get Google Talk to make free voice calls too. It's completely synchronized with Quick Contacts
